Owner & Lead Planner
Hi, I’m Jenny, the owner and lead planner behind Before the Vows. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, I now call Chattanooga home after relocating here with my husband following his time in the Air Force.
For me, wedding planning is about more than logistics. It is about guiding you through one of the sweetest and most meaningful seasons of your life with clarity, care, and confidence. Since beginning my event planning journey in 2019, I have found my passion in supporting couples as they navigate engagement and prepare for a day that celebrates their story.
My role is to bring structure to the planning process while leading with calm, positivity, and intention. From our first conversation to the final moments of your wedding day, I am there as your biggest cheerleader, steady advocate, and trusted confidante. My goal is for you to feel supported, excited, and fully present as your celebration unfolds.
When I am not planning weddings, you can usually find me watching reality TV, enjoying a margarita, baking something sweet, wandering Trader Joe’s, or spending time with my husband and our dog.

LEAD PLANNER & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Hi, I’m Abby! My passion for event planning began early, sparked by a love for organizing celebrations and creating meaningful moments. That passion led me to earn a degree in Event Planning Management and, since 2021, build a career centered on thoughtful, intentional wedding planning.
At the heart of my approach is you and your partner. I believe your wedding day should feel authentic, comfortable, and reflective of who you are. My role is to listen closely, advocate for your vision, and support you in making decisions that feel aligned with your priorities and values. On your wedding day, you can expect a calm, attentive presence focused on ensuring everything unfolds seamlessly so you can stay present and enjoy every moment.
When I am not planning weddings, you can usually find me sipping an iced vanilla latte, reading a good book, indulging in chocolate-covered strawberries, or watching Gilmore Girls on repeat.

Hi, I’m Sarina! Originally from the Savannah, Georgia area, I now call Chattanooga home after relocating here with my husband.
My love for event planning began early and deepened through my background in social work, where I discovered how meaningful it is to support people during some of life’s most important moments. That passion naturally led me to weddings, where I get to help couples feel seen, celebrated, and cared for on such a special day.
My approach is centered on creating a wedding experience that feels intimate, personal, and truly reflective of you as a couple. I am committed to ensuring your day feels calm and stress-free, allowing you to be fully present and enjoy every moment as it unfolds. From thoughtful details to meaningful moments, my goal is to help create a celebration that feels as special as the love you share.
When I’m not planning weddings, you can usually find me trying new teas and coffees, reading (especially romance), or traveling to new places with my husband and friends.

Hi, my name is Evan! Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, I have had the opportunity to live in many places through my time in the Air Force, an experience that shaped my perspective on relationships, commitment, and community.
I believe marriage is a meaningful commitment, and your ceremony should reflect the depth and individuality of your relationship. My role is to guide you through thoughtful conversations around the foundations of marriage, including communication, family, finances, and what matters most to you as a couple. This allows your ceremony to feel intentional, personal, and grounded in your shared values.
Together, we create a ceremony that feels vibrant, engaging, and unmistakably yours. One that tells your story with warmth and purpose, and breaks away from anything generic or expected. On your wedding day, you can expect a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful, and memorable, honoring not only the celebration but the journey you are beginning together.
When I’m not crafting ceremonies, you can usually find me weight lifting, trail running or hiking with my pup, brewing beer (I’m a certified brewer), visiting local breweries, or enjoying BBQ chicken pizza and banana pudding.
