2026 Wedding Trends
This year, our team here at Before the Vows had the honor of attending the 2025 Wedding MBA in Las Vegas - a convention filled with inspiration, education, and some of the industry’s brightest voices. We had the pleasure of hearing from two incredible leaders in the wedding industry, Terrica and Meghan Ely, who gave us a sneak peek at the wedding trends set to shape 2026. Their insights were refreshing, creative, and full of intention, and today we’re sharing a few of our favorites.
Decor
Maximalist
Minimalism has officially stepped aside. 2026 is all about bold statements, layered textures, and designs that feel abundant and expressive. Think curated clutter, lush tablescapes, and details that feel both personal and playful.

Movement
Decor with movement, both literal and visual, is a major trend for 2026, with flowing fabrics, suspended pieces, and textured details adding depth to wedding designs. Textures are taking the spotlight with ruching linens, wavy ceiling designs, and soft ruffles bringing a romantic feel to both decor and fashion. Stripes are also making a comeback, adding a clean and modern touch to the overall look.

Colors
Green/jewel green
Deep greens remain a go-to for 2026 weddings, offering a grounding, elegant, and timeless color story.
Red
Red is emerging as a standout color - bold, passionate, and perfect for couples wanting a modern edge.
Butter yellow
Soft and warm, butter yellow brings a sense of joy and luxury. It pairs beautifully with neutrals, greens, and romantic pastels.

Storytelling Stationary
Stationery is becoming more than an informational piece - it’s becoming part of the story. Expect to see invitation suites and day-of paper goods that showcase narrative details, custom artwork, and personal elements from a couple’s journey.
Memorable Welcome for Guests
Couples are focusing on creating intentional welcome moments for their guests, from string musicians lining the pathway to the ceremony, to offering welcome drinks as guests arrive. These small touches set the tone from the very beginning, making the start of the celebration feel warm, inviting, and memorable.

Sweet Treats
Dessert towers are taking center stage, think a champagne tower filled with tiramisu. While dessert-inspired cocktails, like chocolate espresso martinis, add a memorable twist and a fun late-night treat for guests.

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for the couples we’ve served, the celebrations we’ve brought to life, and the inspiration we gathered at this year’s Wedding MBA. The trends ahead promise a year filled with creativity, bold choices, and intentional design, everything we’re excited to bring into 2026.
