Our team at Before the Vows had the absolute honor and privilege to plan and design Samantha and Conner’s elegant wedding at the iconic Biltmore Estate located in Asheville, North Carolina. Nestled in the estate’s stunning Walled Garden, their celebration was surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the conservatory and vibrant, blooming florals, a truly breathtaking setting for their spring wedding to take place!
Getting Ready
The day began in a charming hotel suite at the Biltmore, where Samantha and her bridesmaids sipped on espresso martinis instead of the usual mimosas, a chic and bold twist we adored. As they sipped their drinks, the morning was filled with laughter, glam, and sweet moments shared while hair and makeup were underway. It was the perfect, joy-filled start to a beautiful day.

Stationery
Their stunning stationery was crafted by the incredibly talented Nicole Ferguson, owner of Every Little Something. The invitations were timeless and elegant, with a letterpress look and delicate touches of gold, while still perfectly embodying Samantha and her fun, vibrant personality.

First Look
The first look between Samantha and Conner was truly something out of a storybook. Standing on the grand porch of The Village Hotel, Conner’s genuine reaction to seeing his stunning bride for the first time was nothing short of unforgettable, full of pure emotion, joy, and excitement all in one perfect moment.

Ceremony
The Walled Garden at the Biltmore was a fairytale setting, filled with lush greenery, blooming florals, and timeless charm. A string ensemble welcomed guests, at the grand entrance through the garden gates, with the conservatory in the background, making for an unforgettable setting for their ceremony.

Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, guests seamlessly transitioned to cocktail hour just steps away from the ceremony site. With drinks in hand and delicious passed appetizers circulating, they were treated to a unique experience, a live watercolor artist creating custom guest portraits. The atmosphere was joyful and lively, setting the perfect tone for the celebration to continue.

Grand Entrance/First Dance
As cocktail hour wrapped up and guests made their way into the reception space, the couple was welcomed with a wave of cheers and applause during their grand entrance. Shortly after their grand entrance, they hit the dance floor to share their first dance as husband and wife. Conner twirled and dipped Samantha under the floral chandelier, while their guests beamed with excitement.

Cake/Champagne Tower
The energy stayed high with a lively cake cutting and a bubbly champagne tower! The cake served as the perfect sweet treat for the couple, while the champagne tower added a touch of glamour and fun!
