Budget & Logistics
Do you require a minimum floral budget?
Some florists have minimums, especially for full-service weddings. Knowing this upfront helps you decide if they're within your price range before falling in love with their work.
What is your pricing structure? (a la carte or package based)
Understanding how your florist prices their work can help you compare proposals more easily. Some offer packages, while others charge individually for each arrangement or item.
Do you charge delivery, setup, or breakdown fees separately?
Those beautiful florals don’t magically appear on your wedding day! Setup and breakdown takes time and labor. Ask if those logistics are included in the quote or billed separately so you’re not caught off guard later.
Are you able to help donate our florals after the wedding?
If you're hoping to spread the love after the wedding day, some florists can help coordinate donations to hospitals, nursing homes, or local charities. It's a thoughtful touch that makes your flowers go even further.

Design & Style
Do you have a portfolio or gallery of past weddings I can see?
Photos speak volume! Reviewing a florist’s past work helps you get a feel for their style, creativity, and ability to match different aesthetics.
What flowers are in season during my wedding month?
Seasonal blooms are often more budget-friendly and fresher. Ask what flowers will be in their prime during your wedding season, your florist may suggest gorgeous alternatives you hadn’t considered before!
Do my inspo photos and color palette align with your work?
It’s important to make sure your vision matches your florist’s strengths. Share your inspiration photos and color preferences to ensure they can bring your dream to life in a way that feels cohesive and true to you.

Rentals & Decor
Do you provide candles, vases, floral stands or other decor items
Many florists offer extras that help elevate your design, like votives, taper candles, and vases. It’s good to know what’s available so you can factor those pieces into your planning.
Are these rentals or included in the floral cost?
Some items may be included in the total floral quote, while others might be rented separately. Clarify so you understand what you’re actually paying for, and what needs to be returned after the wedding.
Does anything need to be returned after the wedding day?
Make sure you know which items are rentals and when/how they’ll be picked up. That way, your planner or coordinator can manage those details and avoid any extra charges or confusion.
